Hi there, my name is Zoey! Welcome to my website! I'm a student studying Mechanical Engineering (with a concentration in Aerospace) and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (with a concentration in Queer and Transgender Studies) at RIT! I'm a huge space nerd, and I absolutely love anything and everything space, space history, and aerospace engineering. I'm especially interested in lunar colonization and cislunar industry. I also have a strong interest in the intersections of feminism and queer identities with technology, and how they can influence, better, and benefit from it. I'm a nonbinary trans woman (out since February 2023, and on HRT since January 2024), and a lesbian (though let's not get into that whole can of worms here).
I made this site to serve as an online presence for myself after deciding to abandon social media due to its horrible effects on my mental health. I want to build my own little space to discuss my interests, let people see my thoughts, and show off the projects that I work on. I'm far from a web developer, so please forgive me if the site looks a little rough! I'm trying to keep it simplistic, but within something that represents me and the aesthetic that I like.
